Crunch

Typography




This is a great example of what we were talking about today in class, point of purchase. This candy bar wrapper has everything to draw your attention to it in order to get you to buy it. One of the main things that makes it eye catching is the simple bold font. If you want people to look at something when they are in a hurry, you need to make sure it short sweet and to the point. You want it to be legible. The other main thing that will catch peoples eye is the color scheme. Its very bold and in your face and it uses two of the primary colors. Using primary colors catches everyones eye, especially children! and that is a big marketing technique. Also you notice that the required information is on the back where for the most part goes unnoticed, this is so theres no distractions where the logo is. Good job Crunch, I have bought you many times.
